Method

Sequence, not slogans.

The order the work actually happens in. Curing periods are held in full, which is the step most often shortened and the one that decides whether the structure lasts.

  1. Set out

    Levels taken, grid pegged, excavation lines marked against the structural drawing before any cutting begins.

  2. Substructure

    PCC bed cast, footing mesh tied, column cage plumbed and laterally braced, cover blocks placed to spec.

  3. Superstructure

    Columns, beams and slab raised in sequence with curing held for the full period before striking formwork.

  4. Finish and hand over

    Plaster, painting, railings, access ramps and external levels completed, then the site cleared and handed back.

Materials and plant

Reinforcement supplied. Formwork on hire.

Alongside contract work, RJS Construction sells reinforcement material and hires out slab and column formwork. Sizes, grades and rates are quoted per job.
